Settlers of Cataan, Ticket to Ride Asia, Arkham Asylum and most excited about upcoming Settlers of Star Trek.
I recieved Settlers of Catan for Christmas and have been playing it just about once a day for the last month. We intend to continue this tradition in the upcoming months. Perhaps we will get an expansion. Whats the best one, btw? (for anyone who wants to answer)
We love the Cities and Knights expansion.. even though we have them all, that is the only one we really play.
Most likely the following (In no particular order)
Settlers of Catan, Rivals for Catan, Settlers of America, A certain color matching train game from a rival company, a card game version of a heavy euro from a different rival company.
Likely Settlers of Catan and Dominion…but hopefully Automobile Deluxe!

Played a ton of Catan over the holidays. Played more this last weekend as well as several rounds of The Great Dalmuti. Love my 10th anniversary edition of Catan. Even have the Catanimals to use as port reminders.
I’m guessing a lot of Magic: the Gathering, sprinkled with Settlers of Catan, Zombie Dice, and a few other various games.

Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, and Alhambra are always popular with my parents, so those games get a lot of play at the holidays. Hoping I can get them to give the Settlers expansions a shot, but they love the base game a ton!

I got automobile for Christmas, and had plans to play it over the holidays, but wife got a new job and needed to sell games off to pay for the moving truck. Hopefully get it again soon, and it can be my new holiday game.
Catan and 7 Wonders
Been playing a lot of AD&D along with some STAR WARS (West End Games version).
Agricola!! I just got it for Xmas, and I’m loving it more each time I play it! Oh, and I want to play Arkham Horror, but I can’t convince anyone to sit down with me for 4 hours to figure out how to play it.
My kids are young, and their favorite game at the moment is Apples to Apples. Every time we get ready for game night, that’s what they choose.
I am currently running a Pathfinder Campaign and I just picked up Sword Noir recently. Can’t wait to play!

I will be playing a whole bunch of Settlers of Catan. I also play Pathfinder pretty regularly!
My favorites are Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, and who doesn’t like a game or two of Munchkin?
I really want to play some of the expansions of Powergrid. I’ve played two of them so far and want to try out more.
I’m a hard core Settlers girl. The original is still my favorite but continue to play Settlers of America, Settlers of the Stone Age, Settlers Germany, Ticket to Ride, and Puerto Rico.
The whole Catan series has been sweeping our family faster than the Black Death in medieval times!
From the base game, Settlers of Catan, to the expansion packs, Cities and Knights. We’ve been playing Rivals for Catan and are now looking to add variants to the game for more fun. Anytime my siblings and I get together, Catan rules the roost!

I’ve finally got my wife playing Catan after last week’s episode of “The Big Bang Theory” and I’m pretty excited about Star Trek Catan game coming out. I’m also looking forward to starting a new HackMaster campaign this weekend.
We’ve been playing a lot of Eclipse, but I’m hoping to see Age of Industry hit the table soon. Plus I hope to get a few plays of Discworld as well.

I got the MageKnight board game for Xmas, and have had a blast playing it and will continue to do so. I also foresee quite a bit of magic and DnD as well.

Been initiating my 11 year old daughter in the ways of the gamer geek… Dominion is her favorite, which we will be playing a lot of over the holidays, but i think we would LOVE automobiles!
The hubby and I LOVE playing basic Settlers and Cities and Knights! So much so that he created a GIANT (6ft diameter) version for me as a surprise. We love pulling it out for friends and family, teaching the newbies how to play and getting them as hooked as we are. Now we hear there’s a Star Trek Settlers coming out?!?! I know what we’ll be buying this year!
Ill be playing Settlers of Catan to get some of the family interested in Euro style games.
Over the holidays we played 7 Wonders. But every one got busy with real life and we have not gotten to play in a while. This weekend our friends have found some time and we will be playing this again, if not Settlers of Catan or Dominion are big favorites.. Woo hoo for time with friends.

We always get a game or two of Settlers of Catan in. Now we’ve started playing settlers of America as well.
I want to learn to play Malifaux, and we have been playing Fortune and Glory a lot. Oh, and Gears of War… all good stuff. (That is, of course, when I can get the family to play anything other then Settlers)

Toc Toc Woodman has been played the most so far. Homesteaders has been played thrice. Lords of Vegas is loved by everyone and comes out frequently, but not yet in the new year… sounds like a plan for this weekend.
Been playing a lot of Labyrinth and RoboRally recently, but I would love to play more Thunderstone, Cat in the Sack, and Agricola. My family doesn’t really care for the ‘screw your neighbor’ games, and with the exception of Cat in the Sack (which I’ve seen more rage-quits in than just about anything), those games work. I’d like to play more Defenders of the Realm, but that game takes forever!
I’ve been playing quite a bit of Eclipse, Lords of Vegas, Kingdom Builder and teaching my cousins to play games with Hey, That’s My Fish! and Forbidden Island.
Valentines Day will be a day for Famly Business for the whole family. Since April 1st is on a Sunday, we’ll pull out Toledo and Settlers with the Cities and Knights expansion. On Easter, my 11 yr old son and I will be playing Settlers of Catan basic and Tigris and Euphrates, while my 7 yr old and I will be playing Kids of Catan. We’ll all play Station Master when ever we get the chance as my younger son loves trains, and my older son just loves the game!
Am in LOVE with Arkham Asylum and Mansions of Madness! Settlers of Catan and ALL it’s expansions are a STAPLE!

I am attempting to create my own board game, so i expect to be play testing that quite a bit. When I do have time for a break, I’ve been playing Skyrim and Arkahm Asylum. Also have been playing the Guardians of the Multiverse indie card game! Awesome Party game!

I love Catan, specifically Cities & Knights, so that always comes out at holiday time. Mansions of Madness has seen some table time, as have Power Grid and Ticket to Ride. We even got a set of wooden train tokens to upgrade our TTR experience for Christmas!
The biggest hit of the holiday season was by far Telestrations. We broke it out at my family’s Thanksgiving, and everyone ate it up. It was a winner with my non-gamer relatives as well as the nerdier wings of the family. It then went to both Christmas parties, and my mom borrowed it to play with the ladies of her church circle. It was a smash!
Been playing a lot of Catan and Forbidden island with my mom lately. Probably gonna stick with those for a while see what else she wants to pull out. Always looks for some time off work so we can game!
I just taught three new people to play Settlers of Catan. My plan is to play that with them twice a month for the next couple months and slowly introduce the expansions to them. One has a younger daughter, so I think we might try kids of catan. After that it’s a slippery slope to Ticket to Ride, Carcassone, Agricola, Alhambra and eventually Power Grid and hopefully a railway game..
Last night I finally learned how to play A Few Acres of Snow (a christmas present) so plan to introduce that to my wife this week and try to get her playing that once a week and a little More Hey! That’s My Fish!.

I travel a lot, so I’m either playing Settlers of Catan on my I-Pad or the board game with my friends and family. Starfarers of Catan is one that I really enjoy, and wish would come back again.
We always enjoy Warewolf with the big groups. Magic: the gathering and Dominion are always winners in my house. With the younger kids Run for your Life Candyman and snorta are favorites.
We’ve been playing lots of King of Tokyo, Glen More, Alien Frontiers, and TTR. Hope to get into some of the Christmas gifts of Elfenland, Panic Station, and Castle Panic.
We play Settlers of Catan with Cities and Knights, Seafarers, Fisherman of Catan, Harbor Master a lot. For Valentines maybe a game of Gloom or Lets Kill. I got Steam for Christmas and would love to play it more. I would like to play Last Days of Pompeii, but alas it is out of print.
Magic: The Gathering mostly. Can’t wait to start some new games this summer though!

I received the big box of Alhambra and 7 Wonders for Christmas, so probably those as well as some Magic: The Gathering (via Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012.)
We will be playing Nuns On The Run. We picked up this lighter game over Christmas vacation and have enjoyed it a few times.

We will be celebrating the holidays with 3D Catan, Dominion and Twilight Struggle. Nothing says Happy V Day than getting more victory points than your significant other! For Easter we will probably play Catan as well because my sister loves that game. She is surprisingly good at getting ore for some reason. It’s very strange, but the dice just love her.
I have been excitedly trying out the new beastiary from the Pathfinder franchise. It’s an interesting thing to see Eastern monsters in the setting, I’m sure it would go well with the Samurai class. As of now I’ve been playing a changeling Gunslinger that’s surprisingly entertaining. I would like to play some Dark Heresy though I’ve not seen anyone that plays that for a while. other than that I’ve been playing the original Fallout, though I’ve been reading JE Sawyer’s follout PnP, and Deadlands to see what they may be like.
Can not wait to try Discworld: Ankh-Morpork, On Valentine day most likely will play 7 Wonders, and Power Grid.. and i will will most likely play it at the Secrets Factory.

I’ve been on a crayon rail kick recently. The one I’m really looking forward to playing is India Rails. I’ve only played it once before and the pilgrims are a neat option. I never seem to win the crayon rail games, but I love playing them.
I’m also hoping for enough people to play a monster game of the re-release of Outpost.
Hopefully I’ll get another chance to play Lords of Vegas. I need to redeem myself after my last awful showing!

Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride w/ the Alvin & Dexter expansion the kids have been looking forward to (just got it yesterday), Felix: The Cat in the Sack and maybe Bombay. My son and I are also play testing and reporting on a new miniatures game out of Poland, this weekend will be our first trial.
I would hope this next holiday to be playing Rivals Of Catan. Why? the next holiday being Valentines Day, it would be so ideal to be snuggled up at home playing games with a lovely lady I know Rivals is a great game and the best part is, it is 2-player, meaning we are by ourselves, having a lovely time no doubt.
I actually spent my holiday cleaning out the trunk of my car to find all the pieces to Catan, as my box busted open.
As a newbie to a new area, Ill be joining my friends in our first ever web based Shadowrun game and running a PbP SR game along side with it.
We will have a webcam, conference microphone and my headset, webcam for Table/MIniatures map etc. Conference microphone to pick up there end and then me with my headset, most likely just over google chat, or skype.
Also been talking about busting out some old school first edition D&D!!
If I can get the annual game of Iron Dragon happening over the summer (southern hemisphere here) it would be awesome!
During New Year’s weekend, we played all of our train games, including Station Master. So, for the next upcoming holiday weekend, we are going to play all of our Carcassonne expansions and Settlers of Catan games.
As my wife stated before, we are playing Carcassonne and Settlers for the weekend. We love to have a themed weekend during the holidays. Last year, we played all of our spy/clue type games. Another weekend, we played all of our racing games.

Since April Fools falls on a Sunday, that will be Pathfinder day, all day long. For the holidays I spend with family, I’m hoping that I can bring my Catan or maybe La Strada with me and finagle my family into playing with me. Of course, a good round of Elfesk can be had at any time!
Holidays are a great time to play games. I’m looking forward to playing Fast Flowing Forest Fellers and Faces with the family. And Bloodbowl with my gaming group buddies. And I just found a number of boardgames made their way to the iPhone, so I will probably pick up something there.
A friend of mine picked up Ankh-Morpork, which I’m itching to try – at his behest and Catan is always fun. I play a fair amount of Pandemic with my Wife, but would also like to try Nuns on the Run, and Downfall of Pompeii, and of course Automobile just to name a few. There’s really far too many games I would like to try, at least I know there will always be something else to try out.
I will be playing Gangster in honor of St. Valentine’s Day. If anyone is interested, I will send over a car to pick you up; there’s plenty of room in the trunk so you will be quite comfortable!

Just picked up Settlers of Catan to teach my 12 and 15 year old kids and we’re loving it. Once they get the basics down it will be time to start adding some of the expansion. Also going to be playing some Dominion and Stone Age.

My husband loves Dominion (even has a phone app for it). Also on the favorites to play: Seven Wonders, Arkham Horror, Dominant Species, Navegador, and Power Grid.
I’d love to bring out 7 Wonders, but we’ll probably play Dominion, Ticket to Ride, and if I get it printed – FTW (at least once). Of course, if things work out well, we could be playing Automobile.

We will likely play Ticket to Ride and Carcassonne… even my 2 1/2 year old knows how to say Carcassonne now (he watches, not quite a player yet).
The games I will be playing the most are Dominion, Race for the Galaxy, Eminent Domain, Ticket to Ride (and variations), and naturally, Settlers of Catan (with variations). I also might pull out Steam, Pillars of the Earth, Modern Art, or Tigris & Euphrates…
We’ll be continuing our enjoyable Risk Legacy campaign as well as much Dominion. Having just taught Settlers of Catan to another family, I expect we’ll get to play more of that.
Well the obvious answer is Automobile, which I love, and Discworld which I cannot play enough.

Ah the holidays! Will probably spend Valentine’s day with a bottle of red wine or three, an entire pint of ice cream eaten directly from the carton and oh I don’t know? Friese’s Friday? Ascension? Or how about Oceania (because that reassuring M on the spine is your mark of gaming satisfaction he said without the slightest trace of shame)? Anything that plays SOLITAIRE. No no, not bitter, why do you ask? Now Easter is bouncier, might run some happy Dixit bunnies around a track or maybe pull Wabbit Wampage out of the vintage closet. April Fool’s is easy- Liar’s Dice or if everybody’s been checked for weaponry in advance, Intrigue. Any other holidays I should schedule?
Settlers of Catan and Risk!
Im planning to play some Rivals of Catan with my wife on Valentines Day. An odd title given the loving nature of the “holiday”, but it’s one we both enjoy a lot
I’ll probably be playing Settlers, Bohnanza, and old-fashioned Scrabble. I’m a Biology teacher and have been itching for Dominant Species, but it hasn’t magically appeared yet.
Likely some innovation and battleline for valentine’s day with the Mrs.

The upcoming holidays are hard to get together and game for us. Though April Fool’s holds a special place in my heart and would be the easiest one to game on/around. Been while since played catan… and been wanting to try Settlers of Catan on my Settler’s of America map. Also want to try out new game I got, Killer Bunnies and the Ultimate Odyssey. I fear on Valentine’s Day I’ll be playing Arkham Horror alone….

Just picked up Ticket to Ride Asia and the first play was a bit disappointing (mostly because of the group) so I’m hoping to play this a few more times. I also just recently (finally) got Dominion and love it and have Thunderstone on the way, which I’m really looking forward to. I would also love to finally try out Quarrioirs. Sorry, not much Mayfair love at the moment, but nothing a copy of Automobile couldn’t fix

I expect Valentine’s gaming will be all about 2 player with my girlfriend. Our favorites are Ascension and Race for the Galaxy. I also recently introduced here to Settlers of Catan, which she won her first game of, so i expect that will hit the table again soon if we have another couple over.

I hope to be teaching Tigris and Euprates to 3 other newbies as soon as it arrives in the mail. Other than that I’ll be trying out Last Will soon and hopefully my buddy will end up importing Trajan so we can play that. I love Stephan Feld’s stuff.
